Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for water purifier rentals with Qurani Rental Purifiers (QRP), Anantapur.

1. Booking Cancellation (Before Installation)

If you cancel before the purifier is installed:

• Contact QRP by phone, WhatsApp, or email as soon as possible
• If no installation or dispatch has occurred, any advance paid may be refunded in full at QRP's discretion minus communication/payment gateway charges, if applicable
• Once installation is completed, standard rental terms and deposit rules apply

2. Rental Closure After Installation

To close your rental account, you must:

1. Notify QRP at least 7 days in advance via official channels
2. Clear all outstanding monthly rent and applicable dues
3. Allow QRP technician access for purifier pickup and condition inspection
4. Return all QRP-owned accessories (filters housings, connectors, etc.) where applicable

3. Security Deposit Refund

Deposit refund percentages apply to the original security deposit collected at booking:

• Closure after 6 months of active rental: 90% of deposit refunded
• Closure before completing 6 months: 80% of deposit refunded
• Reduced Deposit Option: If a reduced security deposit (below the standard rate for your plan) is accepted at booking, only 50% of the collected deposit is refundable at any time of closure.

Refunds are processed after:

• Successful pickup of the purifier
• Verification that the unit is free from damage beyond normal wear
• Confirmation that no rent or service dues remain pending

4. Deposit Deductions

The following may reduce your refundable deposit amount:

• Physical damage, tampering, or missing parts caused by customer misuse
• Unpaid monthly rent or agreed service charges
• Failure to provide access for scheduled pickup within a reasonable period
• Unauthorized relocation or modification of the purifier

Any deductions will be communicated with a brief explanation before refund processing.

5. Monthly Rent Refunds

Monthly rental payments are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, as they cover purifier usage, maintenance schedules, and service support for that month.

• If you were charged in error (duplicate payment), contact us with payment proof for correction
• Pro-rata rent refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases at QRP's discretion (e.g., prolonged service outage attributable solely to QRP)

6. Refund Processing Time

• Deposit refunds are typically initiated immediately after successful pickup and account settlement
• UPI refunds are preferred; cash deposits may be refunded via UPI or bank transfer
• Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

7. Non-Refundable Items

• Completed monthly rental periods
• Charges for damage, missing components, or recovery due to breach of terms
• Third-party payment fees, where applicable

8. QRP-Initiated Cancellation

QRP may cancel a rental agreement in cases of repeated non-payment, misuse, or breach of our Terms & Conditions. Deposit refund eligibility in such cases will be assessed per inspection and outstanding dues.
